Engine room fire on a LPG/ethylene carrier in Antwerp, Belgium with loss of one life.
Today, we have published our accident investigation report into the fatal engine room fire on board Moritz Schulte on 4 August 2020. A newly promoted third engineer was recovered after repeated searches of the engine room but was declared deceased 9 days later due to the effects of smoke inhalation.
