If you are interested in becoming a member of the UK Harbour Masters’ Association, please Apply Online for the relevant membership category. Alternatively, please download an application form to complete and return.

Note: On completion of your Preliminary Application, your submission will be reviewed by the UKHMA Executive Officer, and if necessary by the UKHMA Council. Successful candidates may be requested to provide further details to complete their enrolment. PLEASE NOTE: Membership categories were revised during the course of 2018 and further verification of an applicant’s professional status may be required to meet the revised criteria of each new category.

Full Membership is suitable for statutory Harbour Masters and those Deputy Harbour Masters who regularly deputise in the absence of the Harbour Master.

Associate Membership is suitable for Assistant Harbour Masters and Port Marine Officers who work with, or support, the Harbour Master but who do not generally deputise in the absence of the Harbour Master.

Commercial/Industrial Membership is suitable for those organisations in the marine sector who work closely with the ports and harbours around the UK.
