The Harbour Master, also known as an Asset Manager (Marine), role plays a pivotal part in the day-to-day management of the Marine teams and Statutory Functions at the Ports of Tilbury and Tilbury 2, as well as liaising closely with the Port of London Authority (PLA) for Cruise, RoRo, and Bulk and Container river berths. Your role will include working with other Tilbury Asset Managers, PLA and 3rd Parties to plan, implement and control the safe and efficient movement of all vessels primarily within the ports which are under the remit of the SHA. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all shipping movements are carried out safely and in line with legislation and Company policy. Due to the nature of this role, demonstrable people management skills and experience is essential.
