The Port of Aberdeen are currently looking for a Deputy Harbour Master to work within the Marine department, responsible for maintaining navigational safety within the port.
The role will lead the day-to-day management of marine operations in delivering customer focused and effective Vessel Traffic (VTS) and Pilotage Services. Accountable for delivery of a cost effective and efficient service, and leading, managing and developing the VTS and Pilotage teams.
The role will report directly to the Harbour Master and will ensure that relevant statutory requirements are met for safe navigation and there will be a reporting line to the CCO for all customer service and commercial activity.
Role: Full time, permanent
Salary: Up to £85,000
