Littlehampton Harbour Board is seeking a suitably qualified candidate for the position of Assistant Harbour Master. As a key member of the port’s management team, you will be responsible for the management of all marine and associated technical services and assisting the Harbour Master in the day to day running of the Port.
The successful applicant will preferably be certificated to STCW 95 (II/1) or hold a Harbour Master’s qualification or equivalent, possess good leadership and communication skills, and be able to work on a shift pattern which requires weekend working during summer season and some night working to provide necessary evening patrols and pilotage duties.
