Pontoons & Brows, Free-Issue – Port of Dover

In January 2024 the Port of Dover will be removing all the pontoons and brows from the Granville Dock, to enable future development.

The Port would like to offer the opportunity to Marinas to re-purpose approx. 500m (linear length) of the free-issue redundant materials.

The high-level programme is:

• The marina will be clear of boats by the end of December 2023.

• Pontoons and brows will be deconstructed and moved to a storage area on the quayside in the old boat yard.

• The Port will have a crane to lift all free issue materials onto flatbed trucks.
• All materials must be clear by the beginning of February 2024.

Any Marina wishing to utilise this opportunity has to:

• Contact Matt Carden on Matthew.Carden@portofdover.com and arrange a site visit.

• Arrange their own transport to remove the agreed free-issue materials.
